1. Which menstrual cup size to choose?
Most people can wear either size Lena Cup but choose one over the other primarily based on flow amount, cervix height during menstruation and general physique.
2. How to clean your Lena Cup Menstrual Cup:
I won’t go back to wasteful feminine hygiene products.
I am have used cups for about a year now and I love Eco. Roots, so I was excited to purchase my next cup from them. I had a lot of difficulty getting my new cup to feel comfortable as if felt like it was too low and protruding much of the time. It seemed to be thicker material and difficult to keep folded while inserting. I'm willing to give it another go, but if next time is as uncomfortable, I may switch back to the sadly less eco-friendly brand I had success with.
I recently started my period just after receiving the cup. There was a slight learning curve. However, I genuinely love the cup and how it's an eco-friendly alternative for periods. I am already considering buying another as an extra.
When placed correctly the cup works wonders. I have yet to have any leaks or spills and the removal/insertion process is getting easier the more I'm using the cup. I'm already addicted to this cup.
I've only used it for one period so far, but I'm overall happy with it. I will say it is hard to get used to (this is my first time using a cup); it's very different from using a tampon. It can be uncomfortable to insert and remove at first. However, once it's in it feels like nothing is there and it can be kept in for quite a while, so it's convenient. It's easy to clean as well. I personally use a reusable liner as a backup.
