I waited a little bit to write this review because it took me some time to get used to the razor. I think I was nervous to cut myself, so I wasn't using it correctly at first. But, there is really no reason to be afraid of cutting yourself! It is just a mental hurdle you have to get over. Once you get accustomed to using this razor you will be forever happy. Also, make sure you wash off any soap from your hand before using the razor and it won't be slippery. They were out of the shave soap bar so I have been using Dr. Bronners, but will purchase the bar when I have a chance. This is a must have for eliminating plastic waste in your life :)
Safety Razor - Rose Gold
I think my skin might just be getting used to the new razor, but I have experienced some irritation and itching after shaving. I hope this subsides because I do love the closeness of the shave.
I love my safety razor, it gives such a smooth shave and it’s zero waste, win win! And I’m so appreciative that the packaging was minimal and recyclable. Worth it all the way.
It's been a little hard adjusting to the switch from regular razors, but I think it's worth it! This safety razor is very high quality, and the shaving balm is wonderful too. My only criticism is that the razor handle lacks grip, so it often feels like I'm going to drop it during my shave. But other than that, I'm very happy with it!
