I initially bought one of these tumblers to test out as a cup for my toddler to use out on our patio. He and we liked it enough that I bought 3 more. It performs great for our purposes and has held up well except in one regard; after going through the dishwasher multiple times the gold color on the outside is wearing off. I'm not particularly bothered by the loss of color, but I expect others could be. And it does surprise me to see such a stark change in only a few weeks of use with a product that calls itself dishwasher safe.

Great for elderly folks who drop things!
I ordered the stainless steel drinking cups because my husband (almost 75) dropped too many drinking glasses and won't use plastic drinkware because of the taste. I didn't want to buy insulated steel drinkware that cannot be put in the dishwasher. I remembered that I used to have a stainless steel cup a long time ago and it was so useful. So- I will be so happy not to have to clean up broken glass all over the place anymore.

I got the gold one to put my tooth care in. (Toothbrush; etc) and it works great and looks really good! Especially if you love gold! Also would be great for drinks.
