I was a little apprehensive about switching to bar soaps, but I’ve been loving them! They smell amazing and are so much easier to use than I expected. Highly recommend!
I love how these shampoo and conditioner bars make my hair feel - soft and hydrated! I have no problem getting a brush through after I wash it. And the person that cuts my hair said my hair was so clean - no build up at all. And I end up spending less than I did on the shampoos and conditioners I used before.
Tases shampoo and conditioner bars are the best. I tried others with little success. Love these
I have been wanting to try an eco friendly zero waste shampoo for years, but I deal with an oily scalp. I went through about 6 months of “training” my hair to not need to be washed every day/every other day because it is better for your hair and scalp. I could go 3-4 days before I needed to wash with shampoo and thought it the perfect time to switch to a natural alternative. I have always been very picky about the quality of my hair products and have only used salon shampoo/conditioner for years.
I love the smell of these products, and the message behind the company.
Unfortunately I can hardly go ONE day, let alone two without my scalp looking like I haven’t showered in over a week. By the end of my first day I already have shiny roots, and by the second my relatively short hair is basically greasy from root to tip. The photos are from one day and one night from my last shampooing.
I have given this shampoo/conditioner about a month before reviewing. I know that it can take time for your scalp to adjust to a new product and was hoping it would start to work better. Unfortunately it has not.
I only ever apply the conditioner to the tips of my hair, and sometimes have to wash my scalp twice with the shampoo (a big nono historically for me) and still I cannot go more than a day between washes and the result is my hair starting to dry out.
If you deal with oily skin/hair I would pass on the shampoo and conditioner unfortunately.
I am still very supportive of this company because at least they CARE about our environment. That is the reason I have given a three star review and not less. I am disappointed to say I will not be repurchasing these products because they do not work for my hair type.
The shampoo lathers up nicely and has a good scent. I got the Moroccan oil. Keep your eyes shut tight because it stings. The conditioner is a bit difficult to work with but I just used my hands. I didn't work it into my scalp like many of the other reviews have said. You've just got to be patient while lathering it in your hands. It works. I like the way my hair feels when it's dry. I'm definitely going to become a regular customer and start trying other formulas.
